How to open .swf file?

Hello every body. Does anyone knows how to open .swf files? Please suggest some links to download necessary software. I need it to open some of my lecturer's video to finish my assignment. Thank you for sharing and happy mylotting!

Its a shockwave file used in flash software. You need to install Macromedia flash to open it. You can download it from the following link. http://www.adobe.com/products/flashplayer/ Otherwise if you have any browser installed you can play the file. Or else download vlc player and you can view the file through it. Have a great day. God bless.

a .swf file is a type of presentation type file. I open my swf files using media player classic. Try using vlc player or media player classic. It should open...

It is a flash movie.So try to download macromedia flash 8.0 or more.it will or u can download only player.Any flash player.U can play it.damn sure.

Any Internet browser can read swf files, and you can get a special stand-alone swf viewer from adobe's website or with a download of Flash.
