Book lovers community

Do you agree if in this latest day there is book lovers community? In my country, Indonesia, the level of reading books hobby for kids are very low. And one day I heard about this community. I agree with this community, coz they bring a big change to the positive way. How about your country? Is there kind of this community?and what do you think about this community?

Well they DO have groups here and there, but not one that really everyone goes to or knows that much about. And yea, when I was a kid I LOVED to read! :D I read like 15 books in one summer I remember, but when I grew up I kind of moved out of books and more towards technology, which is pretty bad, but it's also cuz i grew up. But it's horrible to see a little kid like 8 years old and they dont even go outside or read but stay inside and play video games all day.

I think a book lovers community is a good idea. I love to participate in book groups in the community. It is really nice to be able to be part of somethin like that.
I had the experience for a while and cant wait to rejoin this fall. It would be fun,
