Beauty in darkness

Problems are inevitable and that is for a fact. When we are experiencing problem in our lives we referred it as the dark sad of our life or simply its darkness. Darkness is always to being dull, ugly or to any words with negative connotation.
Sometimes we failed to realize that there is always beauty in darkness. If we are in the dark we learn to value the light so much. Do you think we would be able to do that if we have not experienced darkness? I think not. Just like problems, we would only know our strength and weaknesses if we were able to encounter them. We become a stronger person after passing through this darkness in our lives.

I agree completely. How can we appreciate the "good" things in our lives if we don't experience the "bad"? If there wasn't any grief or hate, there wouldn't be any happiness and love either, since we would have nothing to compare it to. Everything would just be dull. It is the dark periods in our lives, rather than the light ones, that shape our personalities and make us strong enough to live good lives. Without bad things happening, reality would be nothing but a grey, dull mass.

people who experienced light and then has to cope with the dark naturally wants to go back to the light because that is where the beauty is, not in the dark. but people who has been in darkness all throughout would be contented and would live the way they have been used to. let them taste the light and they will know discontentment and try to strive harder in life.
am sure everyone has his own share of problems in life. all that is needed is faith that a problem is there temporarily and it always has solutions.

I believe that a person can be as strong as he can possibly be if once in his life he experience hardships and tribulations. These things can make a man more smarter and stronger not just physically but emotionally. Trials are just part of our lives, it helps us to be humble and allows us to look back from where we are initially. trials is also way for us to discover our weaknesses and strengths. We just have to think that without darkness there's no light. In every tunnel of darkness in the end of it you see the light.

You are right. It is only when we are in the darkness that we see the light. Only in times when we are down, there is no other way than up. We value the smallest little things when we have problems. It is only in weakness that we feel strength deep inside us.

Our whole family has this hideous fight going on and I keep looking for the light that I am sure is there, I wish I could save the people I love the pain they are going through but I know they all have to find their own way. When asked I just keep telling them to slow down, back off and let everything calm down. There are enough battles in the world without there being one in the family. Lessons to be learned for sure.

I TOTALLY agree with you! Like you said Darkness is dull and sad but without it you would never know how great and amazing the light is. Whenever i'm in this sad mode for a few days or something bad happens I always come out and I'm so much more cherishing to being happy and all these great things I do everyday. Without darkness we would all take the light for granted. And like you said this darkness helps us get stronger. When you get through these things it's a LOT easier to deal with other things and the same things when it comes back around.
