On the day of exam results?

lol dude...i do fear for xams dats it...results ud have already been listed..its jus that u are going to see it... based on my performance i ud very well know whats gonna happen...so its like watching a movie of known climax... since i already expect n most of the times it goes by my expectation i never get tensed... infact i don even hav anxiety...since my SSLC,frens only check out ma results n inform me

When my 10th grade results were to come this May, I was really tensed about it. I got up early on the day that the results would come, had a bath and came back and prayed to God. And then I took my laptop and search for my results with my roll number. To my luck, the results were not bad! And then I called up everyone and told them about my results. My dad and mom were really happy and that's all that I needed! Happy mylotting!

I faced the same situation when it came to check the results on the internet. Although I knew I would definitely clear all the subjects there is still an element of doubt which keeps us praying that all the subjects are cleared and nothing remains as a backlog. I never really got so tensed at checking the results but a little bit of tension was always present. Once when I was checking my final year's 5th sem results the page was not loading for only the subject which I feared the most. It was income tax - 1. Although all the other marks were loading only this paper's marks were not. So I told my family that I got all the other marks but the one with Income Tax was not loading. On this my mother just jokingly doubted whether I had cleared it or not and maybe because of that it is not loading, and if it did it would give me a shock. That day went by and the next day I checked again. That day it showed 38 out of 80 where the passing was 35 for theory and overall it was 40 marks. I scored well in internals and the overall came to 58 but it would not had counted if the theory was below 35. It was a real life saver for me then, and now a good memory.

I use to get up early in the morning and get ready for the results. No tensions whatsoever. Tension was during exams, when you are running short of time.

On the day of results I used to be as usual. Parents would ask me to hurry up and etc. And many students do pray on that day. That never made any sense to me. Result is known when you wrote the exam, and may be if some high or low happen according to valuator's decisions but on the day of result if someone prays nothing can be changed. So praying for good results before writing exam might be logical. So on the day of exam written I would sit and calculate how many marks I would score and approximately I would get the same score. I had only one failure in my student life but then also I had told about it to my parents even before writing exam! So the day of result never made me tensed. But I would be glad to hold the report card and see the marks. Happy Mylotting!

I still remember when I was waiting for my 10+2 results back in 1999. I was so nervous and the faculty was holding the report cards and reading out the results. The pass percentage was very less that year because of the tough math paper. Even I didn't do much well in the exam. SO, I was not sure if I will be through or not. Fianlly he read my card and said PASS. I was like flying high. oh Yeah! I was praying to god the whole time.

During exam results i am the only one who does not get much tense for results in my whole group. It is also because most of the people get so tense that they keep calling me. In the end till i see the results i am just reducing the tension of my friends. So maybe if i am getting a result separately from others i may get to be tense.

When I know that the results are finally here, I always have stomach pains until I find out the results.

on the day of my result i switch my pc on 3-4 hours before the declaration of the result . i would keep checking the site again and again for the result as the time creeps its gets tenser and tenser and so i start praying.

yeah i get freaked out too.....Even if my exam has gone well .... the tension always is there.I also pray to god that day that gives me some kind of hope.i try to convince myself that i will not be tensed ....but it just becomes worse....it kind of gives me goosebumps .....yeah it is a really ban time to spend.
