How do you beat stress?

At times I get so stressed out over money, the bills, work, and dealing with life's little problems that I could literally tear my hair out. So, I'm curious. How do you folks deal with stress? What calms you down when you are so stressed out you could scream? Thanks for your answers!

i get stressed only when im running behind the schedule.so i see to it that i work more harder n set things right.mean while i listen to some cool music..or mentally recall the most beautiful faces i ve ever seen.the best thing in this regard is meditation.though it is tough to meditate in times of stress,with better effort best things can be achieved...

actually sir..in my faith im supposed to meditate daily.so meditation is not a new concept for me.well give me ur email id.ll send u some good videos demonstrating meditation.and if u dont have a problem attending workshops conducted by schools of other religion i ud suggest some which really are effective for stressed out people.

Do you have any recommendations on how to meditate? I am basically always being pulled in several directions because I have so many responsibilities, none of which I can afford to let go. But the meditation idea seems very interesting. Are there any good methods that you have tried? Thank you for your response!

well i don't know if i'm the best person to ask. i'm 16 and i have gray hair already! my hair dresser asked me what i was stressed about haha that was a long conversation. but i do try to control stress. the best thing i try to do is to not think about it. come back to what your worried about later relax take a nice hot bath then turn on some music. a great stress reliever i try. ether that or i go take a nap.

This is somewhat my method now. I am pretty busy, with two kids, a full time job and constant responsibilities, so it can be difficult finding time to get away from those things. The hot bath is a good suggestion, though. Thank you!

I listen to music or read a book. I love to snuggle up in bed with a good book and read the day away! Also, if I am really mad, I'll work out really hard will I'm too tired to think.

I may try out the "work-out" suggestion. When I'm really stressed, I can't concentrate enough to read, though I love reading as well. I keep being distracted by the things I ought to be doing or by the thing that stressed me out in the first place. Thanks for your help!

I'm a big fan of a couple of things for stress relief. I work out with kettlebells, but any working out or walking would work as well. I also journal. A lot of the time if I can vent about and clarify what's stressing me out I can come up with ways to minimize stress or avoid similar stress later.
