Personally I'd just ask her for a list of 10 favorite songs. Look over those to see if you can sing any of them, if they'd be appropriate for a wedding. At my wedding I'd like that one country song about how the dad has to give away his little girl. I doubt my dad would attend my wedding, but if he did then I'd make sure that song was played.
