Do You Read Magazines?

If so, what magazines do you read and why?
As a kid I loved getting Reptiles magazine because I had pet reptiles and I also enjoyed the pictures. I'm not good at actually reading the articles due to the small font size and the generally black font on white paper style. But I still enjoyed the magazines.
As an adult I haven't subscribed to magazines since I am not a good reader. But finally I subscribed to Runners World just because I love their online articles and figured I might also get some reading done in the magazine. Also, since I have gotten my friends interested in running too and they are far better readers than me, I can also make them read the articles to me.

I read magazines. I am subscribing to a number of monthly magazines, those that are related to the business sector that I am working in. That's the way to keep myself updated with the latest developments on the technological side as well as the financial side. The magazines are excellent sources of information nationally and internationally.

when i was a kid i loved just looking at the photographs of the national geographic. as i learned how to read i began to browse on the reader's digest though some of the stocksed magazines that we have are from years before i was born. anyway, i just love the pictures from those magazines. right now i still read reader's digest, i also like the liahona (our church magazine). well we dont actually subscribe but if i like the issue, i would buy it

I love National Geographic. The photos are just so beautiful. I used to look at them as a kid and aspire to someday take photos like that. But then I realized it was very unlikely I could actually land a good job like that so I didn't end up majoring in photography. But maybe someday I'll take some famous photos somehow.

No I do not read magazines because to read them I would have to buy them and I do not want to waste my money on a paper that will stack once i read it.

Technically you don't always have to buy them, I've seen a few magazines at the library before. But our library requires that you read the magazines while you are there, which may be inconvenient.
After I'm done with magazines I usually save them if they are good for reference, otherwise they just get recycled.

Maybe magazines aren't useful to you for the time being. That is okay too! There have definitely been several years where I didn't read them because I didn't care to know anything in them. Now that I have a new hobby I ended up subscribing to a magazine again.

I like reading magazines pretty much because it's fun and the pictures are beautiful and the articles are interesting. Also i can feel the texture of paper.
I'm now reading a magazine called "world traveler", it's about the amazing places in the world. And of course i read entertainment and fashion magazines.

hey theer pigglies:) i do love my magazines soo so much! im a dork though i love the celebrity mags..like US weekly..people,and all those..i also love redbook..you know all the girlie mags lol..but i also love looking at scuba diving mags..since i love it soo..
