Why do people act different after you lose weight?

Unfortunately its people being jealous. Once you are looking good people can be cruel and mean. Its just not fair. Women should stick up for each other but many don't because they just don't want to see them accomplish something good for themselves. Its a harsh world we live in when people are jealous of you because you lost weight and look good. If the husbands are showing more of an interest in the person who has lost weight and looks good, then maybe this should be a wake up call to the wife to start getting her act together. More importantly woman should learn to start being happy for one another its good for their health, heart and soul.

i have heard friends said if women lost her weight and became beautiful women successfully, her husband got unhappy, because his beautiful wife charmed many men, it is dangerous.my friedns surely said when whoever has fat or ugly wife, it is safe for husband, he don't worry about cuckold, they make me laugh,bu what they say is rather true.

well capsicum, i think that is the purest form of Jealousy and nothing else. i have faced that hundreds of times and now i am married so i have not that much of problem because i have a very loving husband and he knows about thissituation , that i have to face . and i faced this situation when i was not married and at thattime it was difficult. i use to feel so bad and then i use to get too angry also . these fatty females cant control their size and eating habbits and then suddenly when they see a female in shape, not in very awesome but better than them and presentable, they atsrt feeling jealous and their facial expressions starts changing. its so disgusting.

It is probably because you suddenly look different than you did and the attention is on you. Their hubby's are noticing that you lost weight and commenting that you look great. Especially if the weight loss is quick....people take notice. I am normally very thin but because of some meds had gained some weight. Once off the meds, it took a while but once the weight started coming off....it came off fast...like in a month and I got so many comments. I think the ones that questioned if I was sick were seriously just concerned. I wasn't sick ...just getting back to normal at last.

Having been a good looking woman almost all of my life, I'm used to having women ignore me and I know the origin of the behavior. But the bottom line is that you have to take good care of yourself and if others did the same they would have no reason to feel jealous. But that's just the way that some women are and even some men will treat you bad when you know that you are looking good. It's just plain wrong and if I see that somebody is looking good whether they are male or female normally I will let them know and pay them a compliment. It is in the eyes who sees the people. Some people have used to see you as a fat lady. They have a picture of you as fat in their mind. But after you lose weight when they see you, they will really think of you as sick. Its the picture captured in a people's eye. Have a nice day. Cheers...

Hi capsicum, well the obese guys and the guys who are over weight ( girls too) have low self esteem of them and when they loose weight they got something to brag about and also their self esteem increses. So it is but natural they act different then when they were obese. They also got to control their urge to fill their mouth all the time and it does put them under stress and one last thing, well a fat guy can neither fight nor can run after hitting so when they loose weight they can do both and that why they change too.

Well, i guess its very common for other people to have that kind of reaction.coz i guess they're not use to see you like that before.and maybe they want to know your secret.
