understanding is one of the ingrdients to make a perfect couple. though i may say that there are no perfect couple for all of us have short comings. it is how our partner understands it and how we understands them as well. relationship is build also with friendship and good communications. if the other one is not in a good mood the other must give space or vice versa.

I agree understanding and the willingness to provide room for the other is so necessary for friction to be avoided.

LOL My husband thought that couples were always "lovey dovey" and everything was perfect all the time. What a dummy he was. Well he also thought that I should just agree with everything he said as well (made him an even bigger dummy) but, we learned together that being able to agree to disagree on issues made our relationship better. Also, learning from each other helped a lot as well, such as, my husband doesn't speak his mind and I do, he is very outgoing and will talk to anyone and I will if I have to but, don't normally. But, after almost 2 years of marriage and a lot of work we are starting to rub off on each other. I suppose that your question was a little broad LOL
