Making a splash page, NEED HELP

Hi Everyone. I never made a splash paige. On EasyHits4U they put in a splash page. I understand the title part. At the bottom part of making one do you add your url and a banner? Any help with making one I appreciate it very much. Thank you all that responded.

Well I am not sure about a banner. I wrote a snmall text and then I put the url.
