Where has my discussion gone????????

Hi, I put up a discussion a couple of days ago on here Discussion Subject was: Do you struggle to read this? & I was getting a lot of responses. Today when I look in my started list it has gone! Can anyone tell me where I can find it or has it been removed & if so why?

If I had to hazard a guess I'd say that someone left a comment in the discussion somewhere that violated the mylot terms and then someone else came along and reported it. This would have gotten the discussion deleted.
It's sad when this happens, but it does happen here.

Thanks for commenting. What a sad bunch! I had around 35 responses. It was such a great discussion too. It was one of my first topic I had put up to. Oh so gutted..lol Oh well try something else I guess. :o) Thanks again

I am not so sure. I have written discussions where individual comments got reported and only the comment got deleted. The discussion remained place. I tried to repspond to this discussion from the digest and got the message that it had been deleted due to a discussion violation.
I think that this only happens if someone reports the discussion itself at the starting comment. In this case there is nothing in the discussion that was a violation so maybe someone was just being nasty.
However it raises the question of why can one person get a whole discussion deleted when there is no violation at all. Does the moderator actually check the discussion or do they just delete it? If they just delete it then that does not seem fair to me at all.

I am experiencing the same thing... I posted a discussion yesterday about what's for dinner and I got couple responses before I went offline, the discussion was still there but I checked this morning again, it was gone... I was unhappy about it... I want to know why too!

This is the first time I have had this happen to me & by the sounds of it it wont be the last. I guess some people just complain for the sake of complaining, they have nothing better to do. It sounds like it only takes 2 people to make a complaint & then your discussion gets removed immediately with out the admin actually checking things first, which is pretty sad. Not happy at all :o(
