As a child I remember having these cooked up for us as a pudding. I have hated them to this day. Whats you thoughts on them?

I've never actually had the fruit or pudding, but I have ate things that are tamarilo flavored and I enjoyed it very much.

The fruit certainly has a taste of their own. I remember when I first tried them I thought that they were like tomatoes & I was told that they are very similar to that. But heck no...lol I love tomatoes not but the tamarilo is on a totally different planet as far as Im concerned..lol Thanks for commenting :o)

Well the things I've eaten that are tamarilo flavored didn't taste like tomatoes to me. Ugh. I hate tomatoes.

I've only tried a tamarilo once and cant say that I liked it. It was a little too bland for my taste, not sweet or sour just tasteless. My mother however loves eating tamarilos and often buys them. A tamarilo pudding sounds interesting, I do hope they taste better once cooked but by your comment I don't suppose they do.
