Have you ever been admitted to hospital?

Have you been admitted to hospital and if so why? Thinking about my family and friends most have been admitted to hospital, which is quite concerning.
When I was 4 I had a severe asthma attack and was admitted to hospital where I had to be kept for oberservation overnight and treated with medication.

Yes, but for what i have remembered, it was way back first year high school. took me a week before i can recover and move back going to school. I don't remember being admitted after that one week stay in the hospital.

I have been various times in my youth for different things. I havent been in the hospital for almost 21 years though. That is when my son was born. I hope to avoid going in the future. Hospitals are OK if you have to be there but if you dont it is not good to go. That is for sure.

How could I forget, almost all mothers have been admitted to hospital. :-) I agree with you nobody wants to be admitted to hospital but they office a wondeful service to society and im thankful for all the work they do.

several times ! OK here the list
First time, for my appendix, second one for my tonsil, third time c-section, 4th time another c-section, 5th time to get rid of stone in my gall bladder, and the last one to totally remove the gall bladder itself. My husband said , they should just put zipper on my body, make it easier next time I need something to be remove.

Thanks for responding, you certainly are one brave trooper. While I have been admitted to hospital I have never had surgery. My grandmother also had an operation to get rid of gall stones a few years ago.
