Has anyone here done these? I filled out a paid survey and today found out I've been accepted for a clinical trial for an anti-depressant. It's a double-blind study where I'll be assigned a number and no one will know who gets the placebo (fake) and who gets the real medication. I'm only doing this because I need the money. But I've been depressed for about 3 years, since my divorce. Maybe I'll get the real meds and I'll feel better. Maybe they'll make me feel suicidal. Who knows? But I'll make a few hundred dollars and I'll get a complete physical, something I think I need because of my stress levels and my high cholesterol. Have you done any clinical trials? What was it like?

I'd be interested in how you get involved with a clinical trial. Could you clue me in- my Mom has a couple of conditions and I suffer from depression.

I do a lot of surveys for money and one of them was a qualifying survey for this study. I can't remember which survey site it was, though. You're in the same state as me, aren't you? Go to http://www.midwestclinical.com. You can fill out an application there and maybe get in on a study! I'm not sure if they have locations near you but maybe they have branches or know of studies in your area.
