Wow, i hate not having money for school. Why is it that some people that get finanial aid dont take advantage of it? That pisses me off so much. I have cousins that have every opportunity to have their tuition paid in full, but they choose not to just because their too lazy. Thats the sad part, they tell me they're too lazy! Id be so happy if i could get even a little bit of help, but the best they can help me with is a student loan. I guess its some help atleast. It would totally suck if i didnt get any help at all. Ive signed up for some scholarphips, so let see how that goes. Oh well, have to pay out of pocket for no.:(

I agree with you, all I can get is loans too and it comes out to be very expensive when you add all the classes up. I did not qualify for grants or anything and I know people who qualify for financial aid and give me every excuse in the book to why they wont go to school. It is frustrating that I work real hard to do good in school but I cant get help and the person that does not want to go qualifies for all the help. Just keep going to school because it is the best thing to do and bbest of luck with your studies.

thanks! yea i know, last yeat i took summer classes, only 2 instead of 3 cuz thats all i could afford, AND I was working over 40 hrs a week. Ugh I remembered I woke up at 7:00, got to school by 8:00, got out like at 12:30 and hauled it to work at around 1:00 pm, and got out of work at 11:00 :( I still managed to get B's in both classes tho, but i was soo stressed out. Yea that was summer last year, i ended up paying with a credit card, and i havent been able to afford college until this semester. I get super annoyed when i think of how my cousins are pissing away their help. One of them was even going to get her tuition and dorm paid by the school, but she decided not to because..well because she'd rather be managing a Jack in the Box...

I just lost my job so it is getting hard to pay for it, but I have definitely been there. Workimh 55 hours a week, going to school, and staying broke on top of that. It is sad that your cousin thinks thats a rewarding job.

ask your financial aid center for fee waivers, if you don't qualify for grants you might qualify for waivers where you pay a little bit of money
