i won't be contented with one cup of rice only. wherever i go i usually order extra rice because i don't feel like having few rice.it seems that my meal is not complete. most friends told me to minimize the quantity of my carbs but i realy can't help it. i am already contented with small viand but with lots of rice. how about you?

I don't like too much rice as well. I only need a bit of rice and I'll be full already. Though I like to have some extra veggies to go with.

i wish i am like you in terms of regulating rice consumption. discipline is really ready in the nerves of some. while me i can't resist rice especially when the viand is that palatable and yummy too. keep up that good work.

Do you like bread..? If you do, this can be a good substitute for rice, and wholemeal bread is especially nutritious..

I really don't go well with a small serving of rice. I don't even understand how people I know could be satisfied with a small serving of rice and even leave behind a few more. I really eat a lot, I don't doubt and happy that I could. Even though I eat much, I seem to have a difficult time on gaining weight. (_

that's absolutely true. it seems that i can't get enough with a cup of rice. a meal isn't a complete meal without extra rice. i had tried to eat once with one cup but i end up eating more bread since i feel like my head would ache. i guess it's some kind of psycho too. thanks for responding.

As long as we do a good amount of things compared to how much we eat, we don't need to worry much~!

Rice is a staple food for us and I have been having rice since my toddler days. Everybody around me has rice and it’s the most easily available food in any house…I guess seeing and eating so much of rice since childhood has made me dislike this food. I find rice more time consuming to eat and cumbersome in comparison to bread. So obviously, I do not take second helpings of rice, except for times when I am very very hungry or some special rice dish has been cooked.

i don't like bread that much. i even eat them once a month if there is something to add or garnish like veggies or patty. i also eat them when they're ready. i find it lazy to prepare such. i just wish i can minimize eating more rice. if not someone said i should prefer other whole grains.thanks for responding.

It depends on the place, the people i'm with and the type of food on the table. I eat a lot when I'm at home. If I find the dish delicious then i go settle for an extra rice.

yes i agree with you. when we're in groups we tend to eat more and when alone at home we tend to eat less. We can't remember the time and how long we've been eating when we have others to talk too. only to realize that we already consumed more food. anyways, i wish to minimize my rice consmption next time.thanks for responding to my post.

hhmmm i can either eat with little rice or just a cup of it. while sometimes i cannot. as long as i got a lot of viand, the rice wouldn't be that important anymore. i am a viand type of person. i don't even know why. but now i am trying to lessen my rice intake because i am already gaining so much weight. i am still trying to loss all of it. hopefully i could... jhelai

Oh no. I wont dare to eat an extra cup of rice! Really heavy! I eat more dishes compared to rice. I try to cut down on rice when I eat. I take more veges and soups instead.

wow that's the spirit.that kind of discipline is what im wishing and longing for. rice is abundant here in our place that's why i was used to eat a lot of it. veggies and fish are quite expensive. yes more people would actually opt to eat a little of carb since it's heavy and one would resort to being that fat.
