Dont you just found it hypocritical and disgusting to see how our politicians can get so low. They humiliate themselves by acting like idiots and hypocrites on their ads and i dont know if they are really aware of how their PR people made them goof balls through their insipid campaign ads but i think it bespeaks of what kind of breed are these politicians are" Honorable in name, willing to dishonor themselves in conduct. Lets take for examples the case of Mar Roxas and his horrid TV ad. he is surrounded by the people coming from the working class who speaks to him about their problems, about being poor and about having someone to give them hope. The good senator displays a face brimming with emotions of pity for the poor. Now does he really gets the fact how stupid this stuff goes? Any person with a brain knows he is just acting a part and Mar roxas himself knows fully well that people will ridicule him for such acting yet he seems to follow his PR man's advice," Cry even if you are not crying so people will know you really care." So what does that speak of Senator MAr Roxas? That he is willing to act some tearjerker drama, no matter how humiliating just to get some votes. Same thing can be said for Manny Villar who cries in his ad while being interviewed. Does he get the fact that he is just being a hypocritical actor? Does he get that he is making a fool of himself and his PR people is making him that? or these politicians really think voters are brainless scums easily deceived by politicians who flash their smiles and act like idiots? Its all done in a bad taste. Maybe these ad should contain all their accomplishments and capabilities and competence rather than showing politicians in their worst acting skills and worse of it all, they knew they can come out as bad actors yet they are willing to go down that level. That speaks a lot about who we are voting in the next election.

I know that many actors / actresses are becoming politicians now a days...I don't know how much they are eligible to rule the country / state / city...as such they live in the reel world and do not know the realities and the difficulties that common crowd faces... Their motive would be to just earn money...because after a point they do not get a chance to work in films so they become politicians. This is the biggest threat to the society

I don't know what is the relation between politics and movie and at the same way politics and sports. In India, we are seeing that many movie stars and sports people are entering politics and using their fans to vote for them irrespective of the party. I think these people can't live without support of people. They always want to be in the limelight and want fans to say 'Jai' to them throughout their life. If they become old or become out of the sports team or out of the movie industry, they enter politics where there is no age limit and always keep a group of people who says 'Jai' to them.
