Does your mother take any kind of medication or anything for her depression? You may find that by leaving your son with her it helps her as it keeps her occupied and gives her something positive to do. I hope she can get better soon :)

You should probably be worried about your son too. Maybe if when you drop off your son, you send them on errands it will take her mind off the depression. My mom takes care of my daughter and loves "complaining" about how she "has" to take her to swim class and ballet lessons. The balled lessons are especially good because we turned the Mommy and Me class to a Grandma and me class. That way, both of them stay busy all day and when I get home from work, I don't have to worry about them staying indoors all day. But yeah, depression sucks. Tell her to get a colonic, those always make me feel happy...

rubypatson dont leave everything to God get your depressed mom to a good doctor and dont let her sit your child until you know just how well she is or if she has mental problems your son should always be your first priority ruby.get your' mom some help; and be sure she can handle your child.
