Hi guys...i just want to seek your opinion if I made a right decision... I am planning to resign on monday as a call center agent because I am sick and tired of the graveyard shift plus the stress that it brought to me every night... I applied this morning in carryboy...its the global leader in auto accessories...i applied as a sales executive and good thing they hire me and i can start immediately on monday... There's no basic salary but I am receiving 250 pesos daily allowance plus 5% commission in every sales... guys..do you think i made the right decision..?

Hey aeshamel19! I totally understand what you're going through, I myself came from a number of call centers and I don't like being in the graveyard shift. If you think that the salary would suffice to the kind of lifestyle that you have, well I must say that it is the right decision, but if it won't then you have to think a gazillion times. Don't settle for just achieving "the good life", because the good life is not good enough. Don't waste your life in a job that doesn't express your heart. Remember the greatest things in life are not things.

I think that if you are that unhappy in your present job situation, you should look for another job. If it was me, I would have looked for a job where I was guaranteed a salary. I think that not knowing how much you are going to be making every month is a tough way to live. Sales is also a hard job to be in, especially with the economy the way it is. I would be cautious about a job that hires so easily. It is always a good policy also to give a company 2 weeks notice before quitting. Leave your present job in good standing. Say you are bettering yourself and that is why you are leaving. Don't burn your bridges, as they say. If you ever need your old job back, you want them to be happy and more than willing to rehire you. Good luck.

Yes , if you are not getting the job satisfaction then you should definitely switch the job, and this is good thing that you are having other opportunity with you. But I am sure you have taken consideration of all ,like if your family is dependent on you, then will the amount you are earning is sufficient compared to previous job, you are satisfied with the new one or still looking for the job where you get satisfaction and good salary. My best wishes to you.

Since you weren't happy with your earlier job and chose another line, its quite the right choice. Also, I now believe that you are a sales person and something which you like. I'm sure that the call centre job must have helped you deal with clients positively and you carry this confidence with you in your new career. This will help seed up your career growth and bring more satisfaction with orders. Keep it up. Wish you all the very best, and yes, you did take the right career decision.

I think you made the right decision even if the new job is only temporary whilst you find something you really want to do. You will always find a job if you are working. If you are unemployed and looking for work, you will find it far more difficult x

i think it is a good thing, although there's no basic salary. the important thing is that you are happy with the decision that you have made. yes, call centers give you more money, but if you are always stressed--to the point that you have to visit a doctor then that is a bad sign... the money that you'll be earning in the call center will be spent in the hospital, not for your own benefit.

Changes improve people really . i do think you've made a right decision if you really feel bored with your previous job . It's not a big deal to resign jobs for better jobs . It's a good thing indeed and people always seek for perfection and sth which really fit for them.

yes i think you have made the right decision.......cz the life is yours......u'll have to lead it...........if u face probs at ur work stations it's natural that u wont like to work over there.....and i think if u cannot devote ur 100% in ur work then ull have no job satisfaction.........and if u get a better chance then welcome it..........go for it and enjoy..........best of luck for your new job
