If there is something and it is divided by anything, I would say it would a different something. If it was divided by nothing, it would be the original something still, since it wouldn't be divided at all.

It can't be said original number if it is divided by zero. For example, two divided by zero is not 2 in mathematics. It is shown as Infinity Thanks for the response!

Depends on how you look at it. Mathematically I would agree with you. But if I had a pie and divided it between zero people, i.e. didn't divide it, wouldn't I still have the original pie?

Something divided by zero is "infinity" because it can't be diveded. infinity is a concept and not a number
