I think sign lauguage is, but that is how I talk to my daughter. It just warms my heart when she learned and finally understood that she could speak. To me that is the most beautiful thing.

I can speak four languages and find them all interesting. To find the beauty in any language we ought to have a good vocabulary. I particularly like Arabic vocabulary incorporated into Hindi language. The words are so beautifully structured that you kind of get happy to use them and get a passion to use them time and again. Of course, my native language is equally beautiful but we, here in India, watch much of Hindi movies and so we hear more of that language. Another language I think is most beautiful and can never have any rival is the language of hearts. This is usually found in friendship, love and other such relationships. You understand even before the other speaks anything and you don't need any explanation to understand that person. Just an eye contact can convey so many messages which might probably get distorted even with the perfect communication skills.

Beautiful point bkneerajrk. Even I agree that the language of hearts is the most important language. Even if you have no language in common you can still communicate using this language. Thanks for sharing these beautiful views.

In my opinion, I think Japanese is the most beautiful language in the world. Basically, maybe just because I love Japan. I was born in Hong Kong, I can speak Cantonese, Mandarin, English and Japanese. I also can speak a little of Korean and Italiano, but I am still learning, so don't care about them. Do you have any reason to make you think that French and Spanish are the most beautiful language? If you can only choose one of those, which will you prefer?

For me Punjabi is the most beautiful language of the world. One reason for this is that it is my mother tongue. Other is that it this is the only language in which I can express myself freely and completely. I can speak Hindi and English as well but when I speak those languages sometimes I have to search for words to speak. It is kind of frustrating sometimes for me when even after thinking for so long I am not able to get that word and I have to complete my sentence using other words which are not perfect in that situation.

i have to agree with you that french and spanish are the most romantic languages in the world. they are both sort of similar in pronounciation and whatnot. i know a smattering of french because i live in canada and we are bilingual here and know a tiny bit of spanish too.

There are many different beautiful languages in the world. It just depends on our perspective. For me, I like the Italian language. I also like Japanese and of course, English.

Hi Mickly, I'm an South Indian. I think my mother tongue Tamil is the Beautiful and Lovely Language. I'm not aware of the world languages, but what I feel is that a language which is beautiful should be easy for a Literate, Illiterate as well as to the person who don't know the language as well. So it should not be hard to pronounce the words indeed. All the Old languages satisfy this. Also they are Opposite when they come to the Grammar and Phonetics. You will find them as Hardest ever...!
