How about scented or unscented?

We have scented rubbish bin liners at work and it seriously is unecessary. My point is pretty much the same as the "printed or unprinted" discussion (please refer to my previous discussion). Bin liners will just end up.. in the bin anyway! This massive consumption is the contributor of climate change. What do you think? Do you prefer scented or unscented? or am I too old-fashioned?

Hi yelrihs, I've never actually come across scented bin liners except once but it does seem a bit unnecessary as surely the contents of the house bins are taken to the large rubbish bins each day to be disposed of. When my child was a baby I did use scented liners for use in the nappy disposal unit as at that time the house rubbish went into a dustbin which was only emptied once a week.

To tell you the truth, I have only encountered this liners lately too. I have to change them everyday at work. I just thought these resources should be allocated more wisely and also, you are right, there will be some situations where they are needed, but I dont think it's necessary to be used in the office. thanks for commenting thea09!

Hi, yelrihs! I don't understand why they even offer these things for sale. They seldom have pleasant scents; most are quite overpowering. People with allergies are sickened by them, and they can't be very good for the environment. I think they're a terrible idea!
