Do you think that parents are the best teachers?

As the title says, do you agree with the opinion that parents are the best teachers in our life.
My answer is yes, despite the lack of higher knowledge of my parents.
Because they teach me the method to learn in school and how to be a person of benefit to the society.
What's your opinion on this issue?

I think that parents can and should be the best teachers, but not all of them are. Most parents try to do the very best for their children not only by full-filling their physical, mental and emotional needs but also by teaching them morals and respect for themselves and others. It doesn't matter how much "book knowledge" or schooling the parents have, because most of the important life lessons come from personal experience not books.
Some parents, though, abuse their children. Those are lessons that children should never have to endure, and these people do not deserve to have children. That is just my opinion, however.

Oh yes they are.The child learns and adapts his life as per their behaviour in front of him as he grows up....
