I love music, at one time in my life, when I was still fairly young I used to dream of being a musician. Years down the pipe and about 25,000 packs of cigarrettes later I now only sing for my own entertainment. I am still in love with music, I smell it, feel it, sometimes I can even see it hanging in gossamer various colored strands behind my eyelids when I close my eyes. I have veru eclectic taste in music, on any given day you would hear me listening to Matchbox20, Goo Goo Dolls, Patti La"Belle.Barbara Steisand, Celine Dion, Lil Wayne, Snoop dog, and even Enigma.
My absolute hands down favorite songs though are R & B and Rock and Roll Ballads sung with PASSION and true vocal power! Do you like to listen to music? Do you like music that tells a story that you can identify with and empathise with? Do you like music that brings back memories both happy and sad? I even like jazz for its technical brilliance but songs that move you, music that you can feel the raw emotion pouring from every line! These are the soundtrack of my life, when I sit down and open my Media Monkey software on my computer and I see that 37 Gigabyte list of beloved favorites and dance music, it's almost like coming home without even having to leave the house. The songs they are like old friends that visit all the time. The kind of friend where you don't even need to talk for them to know how you feel. Do you allow music to flow over you in a background hum or are you one of those people that allows the music to instead flow into your psyche and move your spirit?
