drinking water

Why does every diet I read about say that you need to drink 8 glasses of water a day? What does this have to do with dieting?

The main reason is that if your body doesn't get enough water, it doesn't trust that there will be another glass available to it and stores lots of water, if on the contrary you drink lots of water then your body thinks there will always be lots of water for it to drink and doesn't store it.. or as much. Stored water weighs quite a lot.

A good percentage of our body is water. So many people are dehydrated and don't even know it. 8 glasses is just a guideline. Some people may need more. You also get water from a lot of the food you eat and other beverages. Tea is also good to drink. Coffee on the other hand, and other caffeinated beverages can actually dehydrate you. Dehydration can leave to headaches, muscle cramps, bad skin, and so much more. I recently lost 20 pounds, and I did it without dieting. I merely cut out all soda (even diet) gave up fast food, and added a lot of fruit and dairy products. I also ALWAYS have a bottle of water with me, and drink at least 3 to 4 bottles each day. I've never felt better and all my clothes fit me again!

If you drink a large amount of water, it'll clean out your system, and it'll also fill you up so you'll feel less hungry. Drinking a lot of water tends to take the edge off of the appetite, and it's a lot safer than those pills out there that supposedly do the same thing. I have always been one to drink a lot of water.

water helps keep your body in shape and it helps you to elimate all the toxins that is built up in it. and it does not add any other calories to your daily intake.

Ofcourse, we have to drink 8 glasses of water a day to keep ourselves free from constipation, reduce excess weight, easy digestion, skin glow, to get rid of acnes and pimples. Drink water 1 hour after your lunch/dinner. B/c food takes a minimum of 1 hour to get digested and then it will go to the intestines for secretion of the waste. If you drink water along with food, without digesting them properly, it will go to the intestines. But if you drink water after the food is digested, that time the stomach will be empty and whatever cholestrol if any is formed because of the oilly food we consumed will be cleaned and removed by this water. Lukewarm water always, is advised. This is the way for reducing our obesity through water
