Hey, I am 18 y.o. and still have that troubling thing in my face. Yes, it's acne. I've tried almost everything that doctors had to offer(except Roaccutane, because using it would limit my normal lifestyle severely). Can anyone recommend something that could help me get rid of acne?
I've lived for a long time with that thing and I'm quite tired of it.

I just wrote an article about acne treatment, it's a rather long term commitment including healthy diet, but it will end up working great and will be very healthy for the skin. if you are not ready for this diet then try tea tree oil, use it every day and it should help.

you should be able to find tea tree oil in health food stores or any other place that sells supplements, they might have it in pharmacies too, but i'm not sure about the quality in those. also if you can find it, mint julep masque help really well, but it's harder to find it. it's very cheap too, last time i got it it was less then $4 for 8oz.

I remember one time in my younger years about the same problem that you are experiencing. My face was also filled with acne. It really affected my self-esteem. I came to a point where I never wanted to go out because of how my face looked like. I really do not know for sure what to advise you. Perhaps you could do a little tweaking in the kinds of food you eat. Try to minimize foods that are oily and eat much vegetable and fruits. Think happy thoughts because stress really contribute a lot to one's skin condition.

I am so used to acne, that I am not bothered about it ruining my appearance anymore. I've grown myself longer hair and a little bit of beard, so it can cover some of most damaged zones. I've been thinking about balancing my food habits. I heard that sweets can also be an obstacle when fighting acne. But I just can't live without eating anything sweet, so I have forsaken this idea.
What about happy thoughts...well, I try to be positive and I am rarely depressed, so my mood is actually helping me to get rid of acne. Thanks for your tips!:)
