Sooo...i know that if i were a cat, i would veiw that roll of toilet paper in the bathroom with the little dangling flap of tissue as one of the worlds most intrigueing toys, but as a human owner of a cat..i find it constantly annoying and frustrating that ever time i walk into my bathroom, a portion of the toilet paper roll has been unwound, strung aruond the floor, shredded up and un-usable. Granted, i am sure it is even more tempting to them right now as it is summer and i have a window opened in my bathroom that often lets in a breeze that causes the end of the toilet paper to flutter around and attract attention, but does anyone out there have and easy ideas to keep the cats from ruining it? i seem to be going through toilet paper at least twice as fast as normal, as i have to throw away all the shredded parts! unfortunately i do not have a cupboard or shelf readily availiable to store the toilet paper on, instad of the wall wanted roll hanger, and though i have tried keeping it on the back of the toilet, then they just knock the whole roll off and string it around the room making just sa big of a mess with it!

it would be amusing if it didn't happen so often...and it was cute...at first anyways! Makes me wish i had one of those horrible toilet paper dispensers like they have in public toilets that don't hardly spin at all and you are lucky to get one sheet at a time, would like to see my cats try to unravel that all around the house!! Let me know if you come up with anything...

I remember coming home and finding a roll pulled all the way thru the house - several times because as it broke, she went back for more - and we couldn't even keep the door shut because the bathroom didn't have a DOOR! (long story) But when we got Mekon, we just had to put the roll away because he totally ruined them. So we had to remember to get the TP out before we sat down! Okay, if you can't keep the bathroom door shut, then I suggest you find a box (like a square tissue cover, and keep it in that.

that might work, i might be able to put something like that on the very small ledge of the sink i have near the toilet, as long as i can find something in plastic that is water proof so it doesn't get soaked wen splashed from using the sink. thanks

you can also get them in wood, or even find someone to make you one in plastic canvas.
