O.M.G. My wife bought the lamest video game yet. I knew the Wii had lame games but this takes the cake. Wii Music is horrible. I wouldn't give this game to anyone older than a toddler...& it cost $49! Are there any decent Wii games? Are there any more I should watch out for?

This is a good discussion and I am sure that each system has games that are lame and no one in their right mind would want to play, and that sucks that Wii Music stinks and I have never played it but I have seen it in stores, and me and my wife will definitely remember not to buy that one,and another game I would not get is M&M Racing because me and my wife borrowed it and it sucked,it is hard to race and it seemed like nothing but a waste of time and money and I would not want to give that game to anyone, and a game for the Wii that I really like and I would definitely recommend is Star Wars The Force Unleashed because it is totally awesome especially if you get the lightsaber attachments which my wife said she is going to get me for Christmas and my brother said he strongly recommends Legend of Zelda Twilight Princess for the Wii because he said it is awesome and everyone should get it,have a great day, good luck with your life, and all of your mylotting goals, and Happy Posting.

I've heard Star Wars & Zelda were decent from other friends. I finally found a Wii game I did like - Overlord. It's great ordering my minions around on a path of destruction. Too bad it was so short.

That is cool that you have heard about them from other friends and I have heard of this overlord game and it sounds like it would be a lot of fun ordering minions around and stuff like that and I might look into trying out that game one day in the future if I ever find it on sale, have a great day, good luck with your life, and all of your mylotting goals, and Happy Posting.

I was also one of the people suckered into getting Wii Music because it seemed like it would be as fun as Rock Band, Ultimate Band type games. At least I got mine on sale for $29.99 on Amazon and traded it in for $22, so I did not lose too much money on it. There are a lot of good Wii games in my opinion, but it depends on what you like. Personally I like games like Wii Sports, Wii Sports Resort, Rock Band 2 (1 stinks due to limited capabilities on the Wii, but the 2 version is just like the ones for Xbox 360 and PS3), Animal Crossing: City Folk (is not exactly better than Gamecube version, but I do like having the nunchuck as the controller), and Mario Kart Wii. I do not have any experience with the more violent games, as I just never got into that genre, but if that is what you want than I think the options are kind of limited and certainly graphics wise they are not as good as on other systems, but personally I go for gameplay experience (i.e. using Wii motion technology) over graphics any day.

Personally I don't see why they don't go for both. My wife also got The Golden Compass. The graphics were quite good & the play was decent. A little more of the bear mauling people & I'd have really gotten into it.

Well, I suppose they can go for both, but there truly is a limit to the graphics ability on the Wii and even the best cannot be as good as the capabilities of systems like Xbox 360 and PS3. Good graphics do come into play at times, but good gameplay can make up for poorer graphics while great graphics cannot make up for poor gameplay in my opinion.

My teenage son actually gave away his Wii to his sister. He said the games were pointless and like you said, lame. My daughter says it's really good for exercise, but that's it.

My wife has the Wii fit too. It's actually useful as it gets her exercising. I haven't seen much in the Wii otherwise.
