Have you ever tasted dog or cat food?

I'm just curious. Have you ever tasted your pet's food? I feed my cat Fancy Feast and sometimes it actually smells good. I wonder what it tastes like. Though I'd never taste it, it probably tastes like tuna. It is the best cat food you can buy, and it both smells and looks appetizing to me. Sometimes I really wonder.
When I had a dog as a kid, he used to hate his dry food and would hardly ever eat it. I was about ten, and I decided to taste his food to see if it was really that bad. It was disgusting!!
Did you ever, either when you were a kid or later, ever taste food for animals?

I have never tasted dog or cat food. I esp. can't stand the smell of cat food never mind trying it. I don't imagine it tastes like human food or that it's very good since the dogs and cats always want to eat human food.

not in my wildest dream.lol I know someone who taste his dog food before serving it. He told me it taste like human food,like caned corned beef. He told me he taste it due to curiosity.
