Does anyone here know how to Ping articles online? / myLot

I heard from someone that it is a good strategy to increase traffic in your blog. Is this true? and if it is, can anyone tell me which sites should i go to and how do i go about "pinging" my articles or blog? Appreciate your info ;)

Hi please can you be a bit more clear what does ping mean as i am not getting the point. Please be bit more clear.

To make it clear, "Ping" is a term used by online marketers when they want to distribute the URL of their blogs or specific articles to leading search engines for it to be indexed. Thus, the idea here is basically to use those "pinging sites" to do the submission of the URLs for you to increase traffic.

my advice and from my experience, if you have a new blog you must register your blog at autopinger.com and feedburner.com, beside try too every your post on blog, your posting related with email yahoogroups.com
