The structure of their skull is such that,they have big nostrils...But I think baby gorilla do look cute with that feature. But I am quiet scared to see the adults.
Well,now the reason behind their big nostrils!!!!!!!! Probably its helps them to locate the food from a very long distance by its smell......

Why do boars have flat nose? Why do elephants have trunks? I guess all these comes out to only one answer... Why do GOD create humans who have nothing better to ask than this? Just kidding. I wont know why gorillas have large nostrils. Maybe because they are big themselves, so they need even bigger nostrils to get more oxygen? Or maybe because they are too poor to go get a nosejob?
