I am a vegan for ethical and health reasons. I eat lots of fresh fruit and vegetables, nuts and seeds. I need to make sure that I get enough iron and vitamin B12. I am usually very healthy. I used to be vegetarian from the age of 4 years old and I gradually moved over to become a vegan. I love animals and try to buy products that haven't involved cruelty to animals. These days health food shops sell food that isn't meat but tastes like it is that might help you if you want to try living without your steak.

At age four my sister told me where meat cam from. I became vegetarian then and in my teenage years got on the road towards becoming a vegan. I now look at all ingredients to make sure what I eat is vegan. I have a vegan multi vitamin pill that includes a high level of vitamin B12. I have four iron pills a day.

i tried for few days to live without a meat.. i though that i will really die very soon.. all the time i felt hungry and angry.. i know that now is many dishes with meat taste, but they are not healthy.. i am trying to live my life with as much less as possible nitrats, conservants and bla bla, because most what we are buying from a shop are modified.. and fruits, veggies, if you buy without an organic sign you will get not the vitamins, but more poisons instead of vitamins,, sad, but it is true.. if you do not have yourself gwoved and maked food, so it is not very healthy.. by the way, what are you eating to get more iron and b12? one more question.. are you vegan because of you love animals? if it is not a security what is happen to your health at age of 4 years that you decided to be vegan?

Hi Darbas. Hm, I guess you could say I am a mejatarian. I eat meat, but not every day. I do, however, love my veggies, fruits, and grains, but like you, I cannot imagine a meatless diet on a steady basis! Karen

I'm a vegetarian and i don't eat red meat, chicken, fish, lamb, duck or any other type of meat. It's called lacto ovo vegetarian. I've been one for about 4 years now and i lvoe it. it's a much healthier lifestyle because i don't get to eat the chemicals that are pumped into regular meats. instead, i get healthy vegetables with the chemicals because i wash them off.

you can not to wash all chemicals from vegetables for example, carrots, patatoes, onions and etc, if its growing with chemicals, its have less vitamins and more nitrats, wich are dangerous for your health, so sometimes the vegetables are a poison, the best way to be healthy to grow yourself vegetables or buy only an organic.

I said i can tlive without having non veg that includes meat, fish...by the red colour I meant the colour of steaked meat in the inner part. It is brown and burnt outside, but red inside right? I said I do not like that. All other preparations of meat I like also red vegetables and fruits.

I agree with you. I also can not stand the life without my favorite steak. To me steak is like sunshine in my life. I know it's not good to eat too much meat, so I try to control my eating but I will not totally be a vegetarian. Some people who are strict vegetarians said eating meat is not good for our health, I don't know it's true or not.But I found people who eat meat are usually strong and tall. Also I found after eating meat I feel more energetic and less feel hungry. It's suitable for me becuase i have no time to eat more thant 2 meals a day.
