Hello fellow my lotters I just have a quick question regardinga job opportunity I have at Meijers. Last Friday I went to an open interview for a Meijer's that is opening in the next month or so. I had a previous job at a small cornerstore but left because I was only getting payed 4.75 an hour for 3 months after they said it would increase to minimum wage after the first month but it never did. I got that job because my parents knew the owners so I didnt have to go through the interview process.I am 18 and just graduated high school and now I am hoping to get this job before I go to college. Ok so back to the question now, the first interview I had went great and I answered the questions without problems and they seemed to be impressed, the man that interviewed me asked me for my liscence for ID confirmation made a copy of it came back and then told me to come back in on tuesday for a second interview. I am going for a stocking position for either second or third shift because thats what they recommended. So to all those people with work experience what does this next interview hold in store for me? is it just more of the same questions or what and does this mean I have a good chance of getting the job or is it still way up in the air. Sorry the question was so long and I would appreciate any opinions thanks. P.S. I wore a shirt and Tie with dress shoes and pants and I saw quite a few people who were there for interviews just wairing jeans tennis shoes and T Shirts

I , would say that it is a very good sign that you have a second interview! I would imagine that they will want to know what you have to bring to the company and what your long term goals are for advancement. Remember to make good eye contact, smile and be very positive. Some times employers will want to know what your worst quality is? This is a little tricky. You need to answer with something to the effect of " I just can't leave at the end of the shift until my work is finished." Or, I can't stand to see things left undone. Good luck and let us know how you make out.
