I can read at least 10 books in one month. Depends how good the book is. I have time to read on the train on my way to work, so I go through books fairly quickly. One book a month isn't bad. At least you are reading, that's important.

Very true. The main thing is to make an effort. And one book a month is better than one! : )

Well, there are two ways of looking at this question. How many books COULD i read, and how many books WOULD i read. I can easily read a 200 page book in a day (even with working and other chores). I read the entire twilight series in less than a week, and that was with the wait time on borrowing them form friends and them forgetting to bring them to work that day for me to borrow LoL. But as for how many books i actually WOULD read in a one month period, probably one to three. Unless i get into a series of books that is really good and i just keep going one after another, i usually read a part of a book a couple times a week.

If I could read as fast as you, I'd be reading so many of those running books! Those don't seem to be available on audio. It must be incredible to be such a fast reader. I am envious.

I have always loved reading. I used to bring home books form the library by the bagful when i was younger, and then be back in three or four days. A lot of it though has to do with the TYPE of book i am reading. If it is a light read (novels etc) i can breeze right through them, but it it is a non-fiction or really thought provoking book i have to take more time, as i often have to stop and think about what i am reading. Or i supose you can say i can get easily bored with reading them after a while, so i can't sit and read them for as long a perod of time.

I could read at least 15 books of more than 200 pages in a month, assuming that there was nothing happening at work that required me to work longer hours than normal, and that I had the time in that month to spend at least half a day each weekend reading. Of course, it's rare that I have a whole month where work is quiet and I have time every weekend, so it's more likely that I'd manage to read about 10 per month usually.

I read 2-3 books a month, depends on my schedule and how busy I am, I don't think it's bad if you only read one book a month, it's ok as long as you still read because people nowadays don't depend much on books.

I can read about 4-5 depending on how much time I have and how interesting the book is to me.

I'm worse than you. A 200 page book would take me at least 6 months, probably one year. Or more likely, I'd just give up on it. Now if we're talking audiobooks, I'd say 5 a month easily. I love reading audiobooks, all the work of reading is taken out. No migraine = happy reader.

I'd say I read three books a month with over 200 pages. I used to read constantly. From when I was a child, well into my early twenties. I'm 28 now, and in recent years my health has declined. It's actually made it harder to read. My concentration wavers, and sometimes my vision is blurry. But I never want to lose my zest for reading completely. The day I stop learning is the day I think my mind would start to decline. I feel it's important to keep my mind active in some capacity. Whether it's reading, or even taking a class on something like flower arranging!

I'll usually read a book in 2-3 days, it might take a week if I'm busy with work stuff. I don't read more than 5 or so a month just because I don't have the time. But I love to read and I think it's great when I hear that anyone else likes to read too. (my favorite authors also don't write enough!!! I always have to look for new writers) I know someone who is a great kind person who is interested in a lot of self improvement stuff. But he'll only listen to audio programs or dvds - he doesn't like to read. I think that is a shame, especially when you have kids. So any reading, fiction, non-fiction, whatever, it's great to do!

There are months, when I can only read one book of 200 pages. Personally I don't think that it's sad at all. This happens, when I'm busy with school, work, or something like that. There are also times, when I can read more that just one. Sometimes, I can read two books of about 200 pages.

I don't think that's bad all, there are months that I don't read any book even I have time, I guess I'm just plain lazy, lol. If I'm interested in the book I can read 500 pages in two days, but I don't read fast I just don't do anything, apart from having a little break here and there!

I think this depend on which type book you read, because different type book need differend time, some you just need have a look, some you need check in the dictionary!
