Vuelta a Espania on Mylot

Ok, so the Vuelta is comming up at the end of this month. Las month the Tour was running and we started to get a limited amount of commentary here on mylot. For the Vuelta, we should try to organize something around the race so we can have a running discussion that is a little more interesting. How about stage picks or assigning everyone a rider for the overall, or something to spice it up and give us something to talk trash about. Any suggestions?

Hmmm. An interesting thought. I'd like to see the discussions pick up here more. I'm not really up on the racing scene at this point. Don't follow it too closely with the exception of the Tour de France. Will look into it and try to help.

I boycotted Le Tour de France, because Eurosport Romania refused to contract the same anchor men they used during the past 11 editions (and they were very good!). I don't know how much of La Vuelta I'll be seeing, because I'll be out on the field for a week or so... That also means I won't be able to connect to the Internet, but I think it would be nice to hear some news on La Vuelta here on myLot. For example I heard some news about Andy Schleck, who suffered an accident during the San Sebastian Classic race. He said he will compete in La Vuelta, but his goal is not to fight for the first places, but to train for the World Championship and the Tour of Lombardy.
