The meetings to plan Christian activity for a congregation can be an exciting time of fellowship if it invovles love and prayer and vision. Of course, it can be a boring drudgery if it is approached with cynicism, negativity and a lack of enthusiam. Instead of attending business beetings, it is simple to find some other activity. Or it is easy to stay at home where it is peaceful and comfortable. But you know, the most peaceful and comfortable place on earth is a cemetary! It is a great temptation to be satisfied with an awareness of only those things in our immediate surroundings. The challenge is to lift up our eyes and improve our vision. Proverbs 29:18 "Where there is no vision the people perish."
