All of a sudden a blue screen appeared and said something like hardware problem and blah blah.. and also, asked me to restart the computer. I did. And, now it says "Non System disk or disk error replace and strike any key when ready".
What the hell is wrong? It was working absolutely fine few minutes ago. Also, please tell me how can I fix this?? In detail please.

Have you tried to get in during boot up? That's the best way to recover your info! If that doesn't work your screwed! You have to reinstall your os with your disk! I'm sure you backed everything up? Ya right. I learned my lesson a long time ago, about backing up everything. I use Mozy now it's an online back up service that is free to a point, it works and it's free, you just have to bite the bullet and use it! You never know when you will need it!

Hello tdemex. Thanks for mentioning mozy. I already knew this site, but I was trying to find out what mylotters thought of it. You say that it works, and I'll trust you. I will sign up there.

Well even I hate these blue screen errors......they are so irritating.......if you have a laptop which is under warranty you i can contact the technical support customer care and they will help you out for sure.......in my case most of the time I had to go for a OS re-install........I hate doing that but some times that is how it works !!!!
Hope you trouble shoot your computer soon !!!!!
