Cellphone Users: Agree with numbers listed publicly?

Well, I have just read a topic here that talks about Cellphone numbers will be in public. I believe that there will be PROs and CONs for this issue but it will be more of a bad idea to have that publicly viewed or available like encoding all numbers into a whitepage/yellowpage.
On the other side though, if every prepaid and postpaid subscriber is registered and is listed on a directory, it will be easier for some gov't officials to track of bomb scares and other crimes that can be associated with cellphone usage.
So what's your say on this?

I think that if they are going to do this, then they will probably start charging an additional fee for a non-published number, just like they do with home phones.
I am sure the government does not have a problem locating the owner of cell phones already. They probably have access to those records pretty quick.
It will help if there is a 911 call, as long as the user is at their home when they call 911.
However, I already struggle to see the cost of a cell phone as it is, I hate to pay more just to have my number unlisted.

I think that that would not be a problem in your country. But in the Philippines, it's really a big problem. There are ruthless terrorists who make use of cellphones to activate bombs. I really think that it should be implemented in here though.
