Flash Fiction Contest

How many of you are entering the flash fiction contest on Associated Content? I put my entry up day before yesterday I think it was. I've read a few stories from friends, and everyone is doing a great job so far! It's only a 30 dollar prize for first place, but I just like doing it for fun. If any of you have entered please put a link so I can read your story!

I have not entered the contest for the flash fiction. I am not sure fiction is my forte. I have, however, read many entries from friends who entered the contest and there are SO many excellent short stories there. I am sure it's going to be very hard for the judges to pick a first place winner! I am going to check out your entry and some other articles from you in a moment. [b]Good luck in the contest! [/b]

LOL, I signed up here with mylot before I started much of my article writing so used my screen name instead of my real name. I forget about it sometimes. Glad you liked the story!

I have a story about three fourths done. The ending is in my head, but I haven't taken the time to work out the last details and polish it. I'll probably finish it and then let it sit for a couple of days before I posting it. I don't expect to win the prize, but I'm slowly working toward writing a novel, and short fiction is good practice. It's a nice idea to have links here. How about yours?

No, I didnt end up entering this contest. The thirty dollars would have been great however I do not like to write fiction articles. All of my articles are nonfiction. I enjoy writing about mental health and mental illnesses among other things. I really love reading fiction though. I wonder who won. I would be interested in reading the article.
