How Long Can Ron Paul's HR 1207 Be Ignored?

HR 1207 a bill that would allow auditing of the Federal Reserve has been utterly ignored. Even though the bill is only three pages long, unlike every other bill that is 1,000 pages plus, it is deemed as a gimmicky joke. How big of a joke could it be when it has 282 co-sponsor in the House. Talk about bi-partisanship, every Republican plus 100 Democrats have come to support Congressmen Ron Paul's fight to audit the Federal Reserve. In the Senate Senator Benard Sanders a one time Socialist, his words not mine, has introduced S 604 which has 23 co-sponsors 18 Republicans and 5 Democrats. For any information about the bill, HR 1207 or S 604 just go to, http://thomas.loc.gov/cgi-bin/bdquery/z?d111:HR01207: http://thomas.loc.gov/cgi-bin/bdquery/z?d111:SN00604:

What is sickening is those who aren't on board. People like Pelosi who claimed to not even know the bill existed, then we have republican senator Lamar Alexander who said "The audit? It’s a bad idea, It’s a sorry day when the Congress superimposes itself on the Fed, nosing around in monetary policy." Seriously, who the fack does he think he is? This is a very important first step for the people to regian control of our monetary system. The power over money is for congress alone, such power should never have been turned over to a private agency, especialy one as shady and shadowy as the federal reserve.

Maybe Lamar Alexander should read Article 1 of the Constitution Section 8. As to Nancy, who can you not know? There are 284 members of Congress on board with this. 65% of the House are co-signers to the bill.

Pelosi isn't going to put forward any bill sponsored by Ron Paul. The White House isn't going to let her. Besides, this would conflict with Obama's plan to greatly increase the powers and scope of the federal reserve. He still has a few financial institutions to take over before the socialist revolution is complete.

When Nancy took control of the House in 06 she wanted to make government transparent. That is all Ron Paul wants to do, make the Federal Reserve transparent.

The difference is Pelosi was only paying lip service to get elected. Ron Paul really means it.

It isn't being ignored... the democrats are waiting to attach it to some other bill.... possibly one that increases the power of the FED. Check out this reality report. Mention of this bill is towards the middle. http://realityreport.blip.tv/file/2440399/

Three pages? Look Gewcew, what good is reading the bill if it’s three pages and you don’t have two days and two lawyers to find out what it means after you read the bill? [/sarcasm] For those unaware that was Rep John Conyers' (D-Michigan) EXACT words when saying he would vote FOR the health care bill. Just change the word "three" to "a thousand" http://www.cnsnews.com/public/content/article.aspx?RsrcID=51610

It has massive support on both sides of isles too. Tons of co-signers. Yet it has not made it up for a vote. What gives? Pelosi needs massive pressure put on her to get it up for a vote. That is where is need to concentrating our efforts right now. Plus putting preasure on our elected offices to preasure her to get it up for a vote.

You are right as usual, I just wonder why this bill is never discussed by the media. Except for Pro-Paul blogs this is never brought up. Makes me think that the media is in bed with the Fed also. What does the media stand to gain from covering up this bill? HR 1207 and S604 is easy to understand, you can read the bill during a commercial break.
