staying up will reduce your time for sleeping and result in inefficient rest and adjustment of brain and organs, which will cause severe harm to your health. Staying up the whole night will take as much energy as when you climb the moutain. The disorder of the nervous system, such as insomnia, absent-mind, irritation and anxiety will ensue, reducing the attention, thinking, and mental ability. As for the skin, it will cause the water loss, wrinkles, gloomy skin, acens, and black circles and have effect on eye sight as well. Do you often stay up? What is the reason for that? What shall we do to return to the regular life?

I always make it sure that I go to bed at 10pm then rise up in the morning between 6-7am. I used to work in graveyard shifts for a call center company 2 years ago. Keeping up all night was not good for my health. I gained a lot of weight, I get sick 1-2 times every month, my sleeping habits change, I became moody, I got hyperacidity for drinking 3 cups of coffee every night and my eyebags were more noticeable. I resigned from that kind of job even though the pay is very good and above average compensation but my health was at risk. People are more susceptible to sickness when they don't have enough sleep at night and stressed. I am happy right now that I can sleep well at least 8 hours daily and I don't get sick anymore.

I kind always, but not too late. usually its either because I was online, doing some typing or watching my favourite tv program. The weird thing is that I feel more energetic if I slept less than I sleep enough or more. Usually after I ahve stay up late for a few nights, there will be one day, I will feel so exhausted and sleep at 8pm at the night. I guess my body knows what to do in this situation to make the less sleep that I get.

I prefer to work during the night when all have gone to bed. Therefore, the question of less sleep does not arise, as i compensate that by waking up late. Once you get used to this routine, things change fast and you tend to get acclamatized.

i agree with you that staying up will bring a lot of harm to people indeed . i don't stay up at all even when i was a young girl who should go out to be crazy. When it was getting late in night i would be very sleepy and i just got home to sleep. i know a lot of young guys who enjoy staying up very much and they don't make a sleep until the drinking is close.

Well I don’t stay up late but my normal bed time is never before 12 midnight and then I have to get up again at 5am for my son’s school! I do feel tired during the day, more sleepy really but there is little I can do about it. till now, my body has not revolted seriously in the sense that I have not had any major repercussions due to lack of sleep and I am just keeping my fingers crossed.

I admit it, I'm terrible with staying up late. I try hard not to stay up late but sometimes my body just does not work with my mind and I can't sleep at all. I usually end up laying in bed, wanting to sleep and then I just toss and turn because I can't get my mind to shut off and I can't get my body to stop feeling restless so I can, in fact fall asleep. I hate that it happens but it does. I try hard not to take naps during the day so I can actually sleep at night but sometimes I'm just so tired it's hard to break the habit. I'm working on training my body to get into the habit of falling asleep and waking up at about the same time but it's hard.

I´m a night bird. I wake up clumsy and full of different small pains. After coffee and a shower my batteries slowly make the motors run. But only after lunch do I reach a good potencial. And from nine to 2 AM I have a clear mind and I do everything twice as well and twice as fast. I cook many times for the next day for that reason. I start cooking at 12 PM and play at the computer while the meal cooks. I do sleep the hours I should though. It´s only that the timing is different.
