We are right now watching the funeral procession of President Cory Aquino. . . my three year old daughter asked us "why is the pPhillipine flag laid on top of the coffin of President Cory Aquino?" . .. For us adults, we all know the reason why . .. But for a three year old, I was amazed at how observant she is. . . . Instead of anwering her question, I threw the same question back to her. . . I was surprised at her: "Because the Philippines respect her" . .. So innocent little girl but so smart. . ..

Yes little kids are a lot smarter than we tend to give them credit for, at this age their little brains are like sponges, its good that she is asking questions...

She has many questions which I sometimes find it very difficult to answer. There are questions which I can't believe being asked by a three year old kid. . .

Some kids are very smart these days, it is almost like they have been here before...I certainly wasn't like that when I was five...

I salute you for raising your daughter. She would not be that smart if not for the way your raised her. Tita Cory will always be an inspiration to us adults and more proudly for the younger generation.

Thanks . ..My daughter may not have known President Cory personally but I'm sure she will know her more by the time she is in formal school .. .

Wow this little girl is really smart. But you should thank yourself also because you are one of her environments that leads her to answer that way. This means that whatever this youngster reacts, answer or act, its because of what she see and hear.At this young age, you should really be proud how brilliant she is becoming. Try to esplore things for her and made her see other environment that may lead her to a better communication and understanding.

Your daughter is so admirable like the other Filipino children who recognized the our late President Corazon Aquino. She's one of the reason why we are enjoying now this kind of freedom. Cory will be missed. Thanks for all the sacrifices for the sake of our country.
