We went grocery shopping over the weekend and my hubby had a sweet tooth and bought a pack of hersey chocolate bars to make some smores with our son. He also bought a bag of pretzels and melted a bowl of chocolate and put in a handful of pretzel sticks and let them cool so that they could eat them that way too....like I said hubby had a sweet tooth...As I was cleaning this up this morning it got me thinking... what do you like with your chocolate?? do you prefer a straight chocolate bar... or maybe you prefer it with carmel... or almonds.... or even better on strawberries?? How do you prefer your chocolate and what was the best thing have you tried chocolate on??

I like plain chocolate as well as chocolate with lots of different fancy things like strawberry, rasins, dried fruits, nuts, almonds etc. Chocolate is always good to go with lots of stuff; I like to make smores for my husband sometimes too, hey you suggest a good idea for me to do smores for dessert tonight! - I just happen to have chocolate, biscuit and marshmellow at home! Thank you!

I'm not really fond of chocolate, but I like plain chocolate or mix with almond. That's enough. Mix chocolate with fruit never work for me, I don't really like it, because it become too sweet.. better I eat fruit and chocolate separately. Ah, but i think chocolate cake is the best,

The best way to eat chocolate for me is to bake a chocolate cake. That's mix of 200g Fazer milk chololate and 100g Laima bitter (72% cocoa) chocolate, with addition of almonds, raisins, butter, cream and brioshe bakery. But if I have no time to make a cake, I don't mind simple chocolate bar at all!

hello bookreadermom08, I wish I can eat chocolates. I mean I can but only a bite or two and that's it and only once in a while. Sweets and colds are the food that is not right for me anymore because I have problem with my tonsils. Those were the days that I can eat chocolates with almonds and strawberries with it.

I am sorry to hear that you cant have it as often as before, but I can also say that I dont have it as often as I would like as well... I have been doing well with choosing healthier food, losing weight and getting back into shape.. it is a treat once in a while, but not an every day thing for me!! thanks for the response and happy mylotting.

I love chocolates! I guess I can be addicted to it. I can eat it as plain chocolate, though there are times that I would crave it with pretzels. It doesn't matter whether it is with almond or caramel as long as it taste chocolatey good! :D

Usually I prefer chocolate on its own although every now and then I like to dip strawberries or dried apricots into chocolate sauce. Although I like chocolate on its own I tend to choose different flavour chocolates e.g white, strawberry, orange flavoured chocolate as opposed to milk chocolate. Mint flavoured chocolate is also really nice. When it comes to ice cream though I love all the toppings e.g caramel sauce, sprinkles.. :-)

I love chocolate thats for sure. every 19th of the month I get a slice of chocolate cake. So far my favorite is a slice of sinful chocolate cake from a pastry shop here in our place. But that does not stop me from venturing out to other shops to taste their chocolate cakes. If I crave for a chocolate I usually grab a chocolate bar, when it comes to doughnuts triple chocolate coated doughnuts or with chocolate filling. I love chocolate pudding from time to time nothing else. But for a twist sometimes I like to have it with walnuts, cashew or almonds. Right now I'm munching on chocolate wafer sticks while typing something about chocolate. :)

I love chocolate in every way! I don't discriminate! LOL! With all this chocolate discussion, I had to grab a snack size Hershey's with Almonds from my desk drawer, that I was hoarding. Right now I'm trying to resist the urge to grab another one. My husband doesn't like chocolate....isn't that crazy?!? Well, more for me! LOL!

Chocolate on its own, in my opinion, is very bland. I LOVE baked goods, especially if they're chocolate. I'm a sucker for a good cupcake or cake. I also like little fruit additions, like a rasberry drizzle.

Hey there! I enjoy chocolate on its own especially if it's dark chocolate. I do enjoy mixing chocolate with other stuff like fruits or marshmallows but not that often. I think the best thing I tried mixing chocolate with is more chocolate!

ahh yes, a chocolate lover for sure!!! I am not so much into the dark chocolate unless I can mix it with stuff. Luckily I can pass on chocolate alot unless I have a sweet tooth... then I try to add it to stuff that is more healthier so that I dont feel so bad about eating the chocolate! thanks for the response and happy mylotting.

If its home made chocolate I like to have it without any additions. Plain chocolate can be pretty boring. I often eat it when I am hungry. Chocolates with almonds and cashews are the tastiest. It takes some time to eat chocolate with almonds. It even feels like u are having a larger chocolate.
