Currently I am researching DSLR cameras for a christmas gift. I'm not quite sure which one I would like yet but I have a few in mind. The Pentax K2000, Pentax K20D, and Canon EOS Rebel XSI. Tell me what is your favorite camera that you have used or tell me your favorite thing about the camera you are using.

I have the canon EOS rebel xsi and I love it. It is a very good camera. It is great for just about anything. If you are wanting to take any pictures inside you will need to get a bigger flash. but other than that I love it.

That helps me out alot, because I have always wanted a rebel. I don't do alot of indoor photography unless I'm taking pictures of my little cousins. Thanks :)

The camera I have right now is a Fujifilm Finepix S1000. It wasn't my first choice camera, but it was one that was in my budget and with the specs I wanted. 10 MP camera with 12x optical zoom, macro and super macro functions. It's a very reliable camera and I've never seen pictures so crisp with 10 MP! My last camera had half that, so it's a really weird difference.

I've had the rebel XSi for quite some time now and I have to say, it's a GREAT camera. All the functions can be easily accessed and the live view is great for someone who's still learning about DSLRs and is getting used to the viewfinder. It has a lot of the features of a more expensive model which was one of the main reasons I chose it. The high megapixels this camera has also makes it a great one for the price. I personally enjoyed the camera thoughrally and although I am selling it to upgrade, I can definately say the Rebel XSi helped me get to where I am in photography today (whether that's just the knowledge I have or the progression of my photo quality).
