More replies to discussions

How do you entice people to reply to your discussions? I have posted several discussions that get very few replies and then I see very similar discussions posted after my ones that recieve lots of replies. I am really interested to hear relpies to the discussions I submit, but I am not sure how to achieve it. Do people mainly respond to people they know or have as friends?!? I know it is nothing personally against me, but I just wondered how I can get better discussions going? Do I need to get ratings or something so people see me as a worthwhile MyLoter? Any advice would be great.

You need to get some friends! It takes a while for people to get to know you, but give it a chance! I advise most new people to just do responses at first til you get the hang of it here! You make just as much if not more this is a common problem that new members face, your not alone. Try to follow my advise! You can thank me latter! tdemex

Ahh thanks very much!! I was wondering whether that was the case because I haven't really been making any friends because I wasn't sure if people would appreciate it if I just started adding them as friends. Also I wasn't sure if I should response or start new discussions. Now I know!! Thanks!!

Try to make friends with people who have a lot of posts and a high number in thier star! You will get a star when you reach 100 posts. Pay attention to these people how they respond you will see a good example of what makes a good Mylotter! T----
