I love stained glass. There is a church near here that was started when the Spanish occupied our country and the strained glass is magnificent. when the sun shines through it is amazing. Part of the glass got broken in a storm and I did get an expert to replace it. It was expensive as she had to get the glass from Germany. she gave me the greatest piece of advice and that was to have close up photos taken of the original stain glass windows so if they were damaged in the future then we would know how it looked. Never thought of that. I should think thast it would be pricey though.

I wish you well with it. I love art so much that it can hurt but am not artistic at all.

Am right behind you on this craft. Have always wanted to do this also. From what I read on the internet, it looks difficult to work with glass. Also need tools that I've never used. Will check back on this discussion as I'd like to hear any ideas from other members.

It has been a really long time since I have tried working with stained glass. I Love doing crafts as well, but from what I remember working with stained glass is a little more time consuming. But it can be quite pretty when working with this stuff depending on what your Goal you're wanting to accomplish from it as well.
