i'd say that im proud that at the age of 8 i already know how to wash my own socks and hannkies properly.it was when im already 10 that my mom allowed me to wash my own clothes. she believed that i already grew to have strong arms for me to do the chore. it's one of the hardest and time consuming tasks at home. how about you?when was the time when you start washing clothes properly?

I start to learn to wash at the age of five and I think I am playing with the water and a few clothes..Then..I started to learn to wash correctly at the age of 10 but I never really know to remove the stain properly..i feel lazy to wash heavy clothes and bedsheets. Then, at the age of 15..I could wash my school uniforms and pants properly..They not only feel smooth after drying and they also smell good as i used scented fabric conditioner..This really saves a lot of ironing..

that was a nice experience. i remember playing with the water and bubbles too. my mom used to be terrified with me by doing such. i recalled i used to waste a lot of water and laundry soap.but years after i learn to save both water, soap and time.

I grew up on a farm and worked beside my mom so I was probably a bout 8 or 9 years old when I helped her and maybe ten when I did it myself we had an electric washing machine and we line dried our laUndry so it was not all that hard even back then.

well that's nice.it's always great to learn things at a very young age. we learn things coherent with it too like mopping floors, washing the dishes and ironing clothes. all of the chores at home must be shared with everybody.that will also strengthen the bond between parents and siblings. it's also a way of teaching children to be responsible and diligent. a lot of virtues are really in line with just washing clothes.

Around elementary actually when they started teaching that in one of the classes. I was really having a good time and I think they graded me well with it. I think when my folks thought that we were old enough, they told us to wash things from clothes to even big blankets. I think my folks stopped us after a few weeks since we seemed to be wasting more water than washing more clothes. We keep on trying to get rid of the bubbly content from the clothes before hanging them to dry. (^_^")

I was on the same age as you when I first learned how to wash clothes properly, since then I helped my mother washed clothes and never rely on somebody else. I grew up with no housemaid so I learned household chores at the very early age.

I started washing clothes properly by the age of probably 13-14. As my mother used to do all the household work by herself so me and my sister used to help her doing all this during our holidays. So that's how I learned most of the household stuff. But washing clothes can be fun also because you get to play with water and as kids you will surely like it.
