I love a close shave, mostly because I shave twice a week. I use Gillette Mach 3 razor and Gillette shaving gel. After I shave, I tried many things to avoid irritation, like Nivia Cream or normal moisturiser etc. but the next day I get skin irritation! Any of you guys know any tips to avoid it?

Well I'm not a guy, but I know a trick that I use to shave um stubbly areas , is to take a hot wet washcloth and put it on the area to shave for about ten minutes, this will open your pores, soften the skin, make it easier to shave and hopefully prevent irritation. You might also want to try changing to a sensitive shaving gel, because if your shaving gel is scented, that might be irritating your skin.

Try shaving after you have had a shower. This gives the stubble a chance to soften from the water so that the razor can cut more cleanly. You could also try an electric shaver, or failing that you could always grow a beard :)
