I use it when I work using computer. Many fo my friends got eye pain and other eye problems from workig using computers for a long time. So, I think it is advisible to go for anit-glare specs. What do you say? Do you use it? How long have you been using it?

Yes, I use anti glare specs. I started using after hooking on to the internet long hours. My eyes got severely strained. It looked tired and dry. But, the specs has kept me eyes of any pain or irritation. I ve also managed to break it and buy a new pair of glasses. It does help. To see the anti glare coating hold the glass at an angle in sunlight. You ll see blue or green colored reflection. U wont see it in bright sunlight. Place near balcony and see.

Yes, I remember seeing the anti-glare reflection when I bought my anti-glare glass two years ago. It reduced the stress on my eyes. I bought that when I started using computer for twenty hours a day. That is when I was doing two jobs, one at night and one during the day. I would like to continue using this specs. Thanks for the response.

I would definitely recommend anti-glare glasses if you spend a lot of time on the computer. I never used to need glasses and then I began to spend so long at the computer and before I knew it my eyesight was beginning to deteriorate and I just had some new glasses fitted at Specsavers so they asked if I wanted anti-glare at no extra cost and I said yes but I like anything if it's free and I must say my eyesight feels so much better now!

Yes, your eyes should feel much better with anti-glare lens. Yes, I am working for a long time using omputer and I felt the difference when I started using it. There are so many friends of mine who don't use anit-glare. I don't kow why people don't care much about their eyes. Thanks for the response.

I don't use anti-glare when working in the computer. But I need a ray of light and set a safe distance. Eye damage caused by radiation from the monitor. Read more: http://www.mylot.com/w/discussions/1968031.aspx. I choose a good monitor, and set the screen resolution and screen refresh rate is maximum.

Thanks for referring me to one of your discussions regarding eye problems. Yes, it is important to set the resoultions of computer such as brightness in such a way that it won't affect our eyes. Some people use a screen on their desktop which will prevent glare to come out. Thanks for the response.

I think I am lucky with my specks..I have little power in both my eyes and I ordered specks some 3 weeks back but still I have not received it...By now I think my power is automatically corrected and I can see clearly as usual...so no anti-glare...no specks..fed up :(
