How would you set up a website to sell your craft items?

Ok, as you may have guessed that I am trying to decide to build my own website to sell my craft items or not...If I do decide to go with my own website, I'd like some fresh ideas...so I am hoping you can help me out here by letting me know how you would set up your website for this like layout, etc? Would you consider building your own website through freewebs to sell your craft?

My husband and I don't sell crafts, but we are both published authors. We set up a free website on freewebs. You should check them out. freewebs.com And our website is http://www.twoguelphauthors.webs.com
Check it out and see how you like the set up, and if you like it, set up one of your own.

I love your website!! I do have a freewebs account that I set up to help promote my paid sites - I have to sit down one day & update it BIG TIME!! I was thinking of making a new site for my craft but with doing that I'm wondering if paypal would let me attach buttons to each item to make it easier for my customers or just to leave paypal & other payment details on another screen...
